About Us

Mend It Kits was born out of a desire to make the mountain bike community a safer place and equip riders to deal with the types of injuries most commonly seen on the trail. When we went looking for a first aid kit ideal for mountain biking for ourselves, we couldn't find one – so we made our own.

We have developed a first aid kit specifically aimed at mountain bikers, and pride ourselves in designing products to meet the needs of both novice and experienced riders.

OUR TEAM

Ransom Cutshall

Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Ransom developed a love for the outdoors at an early age. While studying Aerospace Engineering at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, he discovered his passion for mountain biking in the stunning coastal trail system of Southern California.

After college, Ransom moved back to Washington, and now rides and hikes the trails of Bellingham, often accompanied by his wife and three sons. This, along with his service in the US Army National Guard, is what inspired his original idea for Mend It Kits and our goal of safety and prepardness.

Ransom leads the research and development effort at Mend It Kits working hard to make our kits the safest, lightest, and best optimized, for himself, his family, and the entire mountain biking community.

Nathaniel Cutshall

Hailing from Spokane, Washington, Nate is an ER nurse serving his local community. He is also an avid mountain biker who takes every opportunity to shred the local trails of the Inland Northwest when not hunting, camping, skiing, or saving lives.

Nate's combination of professional medical training and passion for mountain biking have been invaluable in advancing our mission and designing products we believe can make a difference.

In addition to his design contributions, Nate also oversees our medical literature, sourcing components, and the company's social media efforts.
